The Sontag Foundation’s commitment to finding a cure for brain cancer is personal. We set out to design and develop a website that captures the Sontag family’s story and showcases the ways they’re supporting innovative cancer research.

Strategy & Brand identity
We audited the current site and developed a clear picture of the Sontag Foundation's audiences and their goals. This upfront research informed a strategic new site architecture.
The Science of Visual Appeal
We reviewed the websites of comparable organizations and led the Sontag team through an exercise to determine the ideal look and feel of the new web design. From there, we created a moodboard that established a forward-looking approach for the site’s dynamic user interface.

Storytelling with tangible results
We crafted an impactful group of pages that tell the story of the Sontag Foundation’s history and profound impact. This unique content resulted in a richer, more engaging experience, as well as increased the amount of time visitors were spending on the site.
Driving Home Global Impact
The Foundation has grant recipients around the world whose research has been made possible by the funds they’ve received. We showcased the grantees’ stories in an interactive way, thereby demonstrating Sontag’s profound global impact. By creating a highly-customized interactive map, we were able to show both the breadth and depth of the Foundation’s work.
